About Karl Witkowski
An artist whose specialty was depiction of children, especially street urchins and newsboys in the style of John George Brown. He was born in Austria or Poland and lived in New Jersey, having studied in Paris at the Academie Julian in the late 1880s. He exhibited at the National Academy of Design. |
